Join us as we kickoff the 2025-26 VCU Athletics season with our annual block party celebrating all things Black & Gold. 

What to Expect:

Meet and greet with VCU student-athletes and spirit squads

Men's & Women's Basketball autograph sessions

DJ and live music

Games, including a dunk tank

Inflatable fun for all ages

Exclusive VCU gear and merchandise

Food and drink available for purchase

Prize giveaways throughout the afternoon

Attendees can use the West Broad Street (1111 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220) parking deck for the event.

Additional street parking can be found around the Stuart C. Siegel Center. All parking is first come, first served.

Meet members of the Men's and Women's Basketball teams during the autographs signings. 

Available athletes during each time slot:

2:30pm -3pm:      

VCU Women's Basketball: Ann Zachariah, Daija Preston, Laia Crespin, Tyrielle Williams, Mary-Ann Asare & Isabel Whitelaw

VCU Men's Basketball: Brandon Jennings, Lazar Djokovic, Terrence Hill, Michael Belle, Tyrell Ward, Christian Fermin & Barry Evans

3:30pm-4 pm:

VCU Women's Basketball: Hawa Doumbouya, Patricia Augustin, Katarina Knezevic, Makennah White, Lucia Sotelo, Cyriah Griffin & Lucy Ghaifan

VCU Men's Basketball: Keyshawn Mitchell, Jadrian Tracey, Ahmad Nowell, Jordan Tillery, Nyk Lewis, Obi Okafor & Jordann Dumont 

Exclusive posters will be available for purchase for $3.00. All payments must be cashless.

Buy some of your gameday favorites on the plaza. 

Visit the merchandise table to shop new and returning gear & accessories. Also be sure to stop by the concession stands. All payments must be cashless. 

Get into the gameday spirit by cheering on the Rams when they take on the Christopher Newport Captains in a pre-season scrimmage. First serve is 4:00 p.m.. 

Fun for Kids of all ages is available in the Rodney Ram Kids Zone! Stop by team tables to earn prizes and meet VCU Student-Athletes! 

*Parent or Guardian (18+) must be present for youth under 18 to participate.
